In July of 2015 our class of 1965 held a picnic in preparation for our 50th reunion. Reunion information was spread out across a wide range of classmates and many of our classmates were lost over the years since graduation from high school.
After talking with the key instigators of the picnic, we decided to set up a website with a centralized database in order to give our classmates an official point of reference where our classmates could update their information 24/7, communicate with each other and, with the soon to be created reunion committee.
The site grew to include a search for missing classmates and many other functions that made keeping track of our classmates efficient and reliable. By the date of our 50th reunion, we had found over 200 missing classmates.
ReunionTrack was born when one evening I received a phone call from another class year asking if I could create a website for them to bring their class members information under control. With the help of reunion committee members who are an integral part of the development of this project, we provide an efficient way for any reunion committee to manage their reunion membership and reunion events, and we are always working on improving our services for reunion committees and their members.
